MAN MUST NOT TRY TO BE GOD - I

(What does the Bible Prophesy about Fake News and Conspiracy Theory Today?)

 

Today, human beings are suffering from mutual distrust, sharp conflict and division in the midst of a flood of nonsense, irrationality, and unreasonable claims that go beyond common sense; and false information and conspiracy theories that pour out at all times without knowing what is true or false. The reason that human beings face the situation like today is because they rebelled against the words of God and left God (Ps 107:10-11), thus they were taken away by delusion of Satan. 

Satan deceives the world with lies and leads it to destruction. Those who are deluded by Satan are not interested in ‘the good’ which is the word of God, in other words, such as human peace, stability, human rights, freedom, justice, environment, etc. Only for the sake of their own benefit and glory, they directly oppose God and use all kinds of evil such as dictatorship, conspiracy, falsehood, violence, blackmail, threats, etc. to achieve their plans and purpose. Also, they appear in sheep’s clothing as an abominable act in religion. 

The characteristic of these people is to make common sense out of anything that is false and absurd and make people receive ‘a seal’ on the head of people if it serves their own purpose. In other words, they have the power of delusion to make people believe by brainwashing and ingraining in the minds of people through numerous repeating and asserting falsehood, conspiracies and nonsense as if those things were true (Rev 13:13-14). The Bible calls people, countries and groups that fall for such delusion Gog and Magog.

The earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle.
In number they are like the sand on the seashore (Rev 20:8).

 

Gog and Magog refer to those people who are deceived by Satan. Why were they deceived by Satan? The reason is that they could not be born again of water and the Spirit but practiced their faith according to their own desires and greed which belong to earthly nature. The early nature is as follows:

 

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:
sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry (Col 3:5).

 

Because they practiced their faith with such earthly nature, they sought the Lord with their lips but they loved and liked greed and their own desires more than keeping love, the Lord’s commandments, thus they were deceived by the words that satisfied their desires.  As already seen such case in World War II, this seemed that all the churches and saints in Germany were deluded by nationalism and national supremacy due to Hitler’s instigation. However, such a delusion can be quickly revealed whether it is true or not if people come to their senses a little.

 

Are national supremacy, racial discrimination and country first love?
Are lies, conspiracy, dictatorship, massacre, and oppression of human rights to keep love which is the commandment of Christ? Does Communism preserve love?
If you have a lot of followers, is it love to make them idolize you as a self-proclaimed messiah?

 

Like this, these can be distinguished right away in terms of “love” which is the commandment of the Lord, but people are instigated because they are deluded. Therefore, Jesus Christ said not to be deceived in the last days and not to believe that ‘Here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ (Mt 24:5, Mk 13:21) In other words, as it means that you should not be deceived by anyone who claims to be the only leader who can save this world, the Bible records, “Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend and even with her who lies in your embrace be careful of your worlds” in the day of trouble (Mic 7:5). In spite of Jesus Christ’s asking like this, he prophesied about the deluded Gog and Magog that both those who were deceived and those who deceived would be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur and would be tormented day and night. 

 

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown.
They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever (Rev 20:10).

 

As God is a consuming fire (Dt 4:24), God burns up and destroys all the tares about lawlessness and evil that are not God’s law by righteous judgment. No matter how hard human beings try with human wisdom, falsehood, conspiracy, trick, scheme, etc. to the achieve their own things, the more they try, the more God eventually burns up and destroys lawless evils into emptiness, futility, endless failure and downfall.

Now is the time of the battle of Armageddon, the battle between good and evil. As it is the battle between common sense and irrationality, the battle between the Lord’s commandments and human lessons, etc., this is the battle between truth and falsehood, which is taking place throughout society centered on Christianity. Therefore, Armageddon is a process to show mankind that ‘Let people know that I am the Lord’ by proving the prophecy which God said through the process of gathering the wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with fire. Because people insist that only their ‘good’ is absolutely right by the reason of obstinacy, stubbornness, legitimacy, etc., God is trying to directly prove that the good is worthless through disasters and tribulation. 

Therefore, whatever all human beings such as individuals, families, societies, nations, etc. planted, God pours out the fruit on their heads according to exactly what they planted and directly shows them what is wrong. In other words, those who believe and practice the words of God will be blessed, whereas those who establish their will with abominable things will be cursed and destroyed. By doing so, God lets mankind to surely and clearly know good and evil, thus it is to make known that God is alive.  

Like this, discriminating the wheat from the chaff is Armageddon battle and God’s judgment. Endless tribulation and disasters will happen until all human beings have been convinced in their hearts that man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God (Mt 4:4, Dt 8:3); and until the day when the power of the holy people is finally broken, in other words, until they completely lay down their wisdom and knowledge and leave them to the Lord (Da 12:7).   

These are the prophecies of judgment that Gog and Magog must take and God wants Gog and Magog to realize that evil will perish without fail and love is more precious than life, thus they come out of their delusion and return to the word of God, which is the law of God through such judgment. Like this, God is always waiting for mankind with opening an emergency exit of salvation.

Like one of two robbers who were crucified on both sides of Jesus Christ, although a felon committed any sin, he will be saved regardless of his past sins if he believes in the Lord. Therefore, God says, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues” (Rev 18:4).

Propaganda and instigation are like a magician who makes something that exists seems nonexistent, and the nonexistent seems existent by taking advantage of discontent, resentment, greed and shadowy minds in the world. Accordingly, the Bible records, “Woe to those who draw sin along with cords of deceit, and wickedness as with cart ropes, ... Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter (Isa 5:18-20).

Like this, the Bible records about the person who makes the spirit stumble, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!” (Mt 18:6-7)

Therefore, God says to

    •  Individuals, groups, or countries that conducted propaganda and instigation by using falsehood and conspiracy theories for the purpose of maintaining their system

    •  All the media that deviate from the facts, lose fairness, and create one-sided and biased public opinion for their own benefit; all those who reproduce and spread lies and cause confusion in the world

    •  Those who lead righteous believers astray like Balaam the false prophet

as follows:

The one who judges history comes forward and speaks in a loud voice, “Those conspirators will receive judgment for 2,000 years and they will be punished until the truth is completely revealed in every word. They will be locked up in the punishment of the curse until the lies and conspiracy theories they spread vanish off the face of the earth forever. The last days of those who deceived mankind with lies and conspiracies will be miserably ended with shame, terror, contempt, scorn and persecution. Human beings will be on the alert. The punishment which they will receive is so severe and brutal that it will be stored in their blood and they will be wary of and avoid deception and conspiracy.”

 

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says. Amen.
